Once upon a time, in a far away land called Grumplandia, there was this creature,

His name was Tiramisu, and he resembled a shrew.

He was small and spiked and did whatever he liked.

He scrounged for food with a positive mood.

Traveling from under bed to bed, he feared for his head.

He carefully left no print, while sniffing for lint.

One day he came across a feline beast, who was searching for a mighty feast.

The beast sat there plump, prepared to jump.

Tiramisu’s quills shot up faster than a man’s hiccup.

Then arrived a young man, who went by the name of Dan.

He was tall and dark with eyes like a shark.

The beast ran away, for he was now the prey.

Tiramisu fearfully bit Dan’s hand harder than anyone could withstand.

Dan placed him on a pillow, and he soon let go.

He stayed with Dan for a few days; it was mostly out of laze.

Acting like a noob, he got stuck in a tube

Without a doubt, Dan helped him out.

And his hatred soon did heal, as he spent time on his wheel.

Tired of acting coy, he learned to love the boy

Who let him nap in his comfy lap

And fed him three from the mealworm tree.

Tiramisu made a plan and decided to stay with Dan.

After his almost never-ending endeavor, he and Dan remained best friends forever.
